I love chicken wings and this place had the best chicken wings I have had in a long time. I highly recommend getting the traditional chicken wings with the sweet chili. The flavor and quality of the wings are great! I also recommend starting the meal off with onion straws. The sauce that comes with them is amazing! The service was fast and the staff was friendly!

I ordered my steak, and I quote, well done and no pink whatsoever! My well-done steak was pinker than my husband's medium well. I sent it back to be re-cooked. It came back out, delivered by a lady that was different than my server. I cut into an outside piece and it was light brown. The lady that brought it out came right back over and asked if it was better. I said it appears so. Well, until I cut again. It was just about as pink before. To me it appeared the only thing that was cooked, or should I say re-cooked, was the onions that were sent back with the steak. The grilled onions came back out well, well, well done but the steak was no better. In the end, I ate the chicken off of my steak and chicken platter which was very disappointing as steak was what I went for. Your cooks need trained or re-trained as to what well-done actually means. And if I send it back it needs to come back brown all the way through. I would've still called that steak medium well at best and that is not at all acceptable. The only reason I did not complain... We had a wonderful server who was really sweet and did her job and the cook not following the customer order was not her fault. We usually only go to the Fricker's in Sidney, Ohio and I rather doubt we will be back to the BG location. To add insult to injury my husband's chicken, the boneless wings, were ice cold (mine were at least hot and fresh), His were not. Not a good first visit to this location for sure!

I've seen Fricker's for years along the highway, but I was unfamiliar with it and never stopped. Finally I decided to try it and it's pretty good. Ultimately it's a chicken wing place with some additional options. I decided to have the Beef & Bird, which was a sirloin steak and 5-6 chicken wings. It comes with one sides and I chose Caesar salad. I got Garlic Parmesan flavored wings and that's a delicious sauce! It was actually great to dip the steak in the garlic Parmesan sauce as well.
My wife enjoyed the steak sandwich and my daughter liked the boneless wings, which were a huge portion.
I got my wings bone-in and naked with Garlic Parmesan sauce. They were great! -

Worst service ever. Came in at 5 on Labor Day. Hostess told us to sit anywhere. We did. And that was it. No one stopped by. No one asked for an order. After 20 minutes I asked the hostess when we would be served? She just smiled and looked at me dumbly. Come to think of it, what does a hostess do if you seat yourself?
Needless to say, a server was ringing up a check and said she was getting off her shift, that's why she didn't help. So....
Left and went down to ElZarape. Was immediately seated, brought chips, and a 32oz beer. Life is too short to eat at Frickers! -

First and foremost I want to say I love Frickers. They have the best wings that I have found in the state of Ohio over the last three decades. I hate that they are not in Columbus because I would drive by all of their competitors to go to Frickers. I do stop whenever I can, no matter where I am on the I-75 coridoor.
Seems like the majority of the issues I see in the reviews are for service or food other than wings or something that is fried. In this millenium when I come here I am getting it to go or eating at the bar and have not had issues.
I come here for wings and the Fricker wing is larger, meatier, juicier, and a better price or value than any of their competitors. (BW, Roosters, Winking Lizard, Wing Stop, Quaker Steak)
You have the option of boneless, breaded, or naked wings. My preference is the naked with heavy sauce or rubs. You also get a choice of twenty or so sauces or rubs. I am partial to their cajun rub, really like their Sweet Chili (it reminds me of the old Damons wings) and bourban molasses (not too sweet, not too bitey), but also rotate a combination of their exclusive buffalo styles of Kicker and Killer.
Big Fan of their fried pickles and jalepenos and the fried veggie platter of zucchini, mushrooms, & cauliflower. I don't eat cauliflower, but i eat them at Frickers. I think they have a really good curly fries and I have a hard time picking between their green beans and baked beans.
They do have good daily specials and if not mistaken kids eat free with an adult for dine in. That doesn't happen many places these days, mom and pop or with the corporate chains.
After a half dozen trips this year, i always had good service. I got my order quickly, it was always complete, and it was always fresh. The worst part about carryout is having to cover it up and waiting to eat it somewhere else. I would recommend this chain and location to anyone.
